Q.
A. There are a few variables that come into play, and therefore a different answer depending upon certain things:
Do you constantly check his Facebook to see if he has uploaded photos with a girl?
Are you checking to see where he is and what he is doing?
By continuing to remain in each others social media circles, are you being prevented from moving on?
Do you alter your account activity so he will or wont see certain things about you?
If you answered yes to any of these, then you need to be heading for the delete function. The other option is to change your privacy settings so that he cant see all of your updates which would only be recommended if you are reluctant to delete him permanently.
A break-up is different for everyone, so if you feel comfortable knowing that youre both receiving updates about each other via your respective social media accounts, then its fine to leave them as a Friend or Follower. However, if it does impact you negatively, consequently slowing down the moving-on process, then its time to delete him.
